Governor Parson Signs HBs 1511 and 1452 for Military Spouse License Reciprocity

On April 21, 2020 in Jefferson City, MO, Governor Mike Parson signed HCS for HBs 1511 and 1452. With this new legislation in place, active duty military spouses who move to Missouri will have access to full professional license reciprocity, meaning Missouri will honor professional licenses issued in other states. The bill was the first bill passed by the General Assembly this session and is one of only two non-appropriation bills the Governor has signed.  Governor Parson was a strong advocate for the legislation during the legislative session.  The Governor signed the legislation this afternoon during his media availability in the rotunda of the Missouri Capitol.  Missouri Military Advocate Joe Driskill was present and offered remarks.
